Jon is Director of Infrastructure, Enterprise and Growth for the Infrastructure and Projects Authority (the government’s centre of expertise on infrastructure and major project). He is responsible for the delivery of half the major government projects. His portfolio, worth PS350bn, includes major projects in transport, industry and housing.Jon worked for ten years as a senior executive in the utilities sector, including at Thames Water, BT Openreach, and Clancy. The responsibilities included business strategy and transformation, capital programs, operations, commercial supply chain, and logistics. Jon pioneered collaborative alliance contracts with long-term commitments and behavioral procurement techniques. He won national awards for both Client of Year and Supplier Of The Year.Jon, a chartered quantity surveyor who spent his early career managing large construction projects, later held executive roles in commercial, operational and procurement for two of UK's fastest-growing tier 1 infrastructure companies.
